Merry Christmas to you...

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas filled with joy and loveliness.

Here is a photo of the most delicious Christmas trees ever.
Huge towers made of marshmallows and sprinkled with edible gold glitter.

See them at Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe in Windsor.

Guess who we saw...

When we decided to take a short walk in the soft and fluffy snow to the local garden centre.

Here is a little clue...

In a cosy log cabin hidden amongst all the trees and fabulous decorations...

We found Mr and Mrs Santa Claus!

Only 3 more sleeps 'til Christmas...

You can personalise a set of handmade Mr and Mrs Love Hearts for a special couple with their memorable date on the reverse too.

Christmas baubles galore...

From the moment I saw this amazingly decorated Christmas tree, I knew I would have to go back the very next day with my camera.

It is covered from top to toe with so many colourful baubles and fairy lights.

Here is a close-up of the fabulous decorations.

Have you seen this special tree too?
You can find it in Maidenhead.

Hope you love it too... x

Cute Halloween...

I definitely prefer cuteness rather than a scary Halloween.

This is a custom-made cushion for my friend Amy who loves the Halloween celebrations.

We designed and made this cushion together under the watchful eyes of Baby and Cat.

Our fun craft day inspired me to make these Pumpkin Pals for sale in my Etsy shop.

I also added some cute Bat Buttons to my Folksy shop too.

Happy Halloween! x

Lovely sunny October days...

The sky has been bright blue with not a cloud in sight.

Everyone feels happy at the unexpected fine weather. Over 20 degrees!

There are some gorgeous flowers still in bloom in the garden.

Here are just a couple which are so sweet they had to be photographed.

Love the soft pale colours x

Cars and Crafts, Crafts and Cars...

My two sisters, my youngest nephew and I held our 'Make & Bake Day' a little while ago.

The scones were in the oven and the cute amigurumi teddy bear was taking shape.

I made a bright blue Tickle Monster for my nephew, aged 4.

He also wanted to make something for Mr Mac...

Can you guess what we made?

Yeah! A red felt Ferrari!

We had seen the Knitted Ferrari by Lauren Porter at a car show in London. See http://www.lauren-porter.co.uk/ for more details.

Inspired by the real thing!

Mr Mac loves cars, I love crafts.
He takes me to car shows, I take him to craft fairs.
I wonder who has the better deal?

How many more sleeps to go...?

Have you started making too?

Introducing Spot...

He is a cute pink and yellow stripey zebra specially handmade by my sister.

She has definitely caught the crafting bug.

Amigurumi is her speciality.

My other sister likes to bake.

But we all three love to eat cake... x

The Macro Button...

I have discovered the macro setting on my camera to take close-up shots of flowers and my items for sale.

For those of you who have yet to discover it too...

It's the button normally denoted by a flower.

Hope you like this photo.

Just a few more photos from Italy...

I love how cakes are wrapped like precious little gifts.
They make each customer and each purchase feel extra special.

Ta da!
From a delicious cake and coffee shop right across the street,
we chose a yummy fruit custard tart and a sweet millefeuille chocolate pastry.

There is much more to Pisa than just the Leaning Tower.
Definitely worth a visit. I even found a haberdashery shop.

The Baptistery, Pisa.
Love the colour of the sky. Just like a postcard.

Who needs a Ferrari in Florence...
When you can drive around the city in one of these cute cars?

The wonderful medieval town of San Gimignano high in the hills.
Visit the famous Gelateria there.

Piazza del Campo in sunny Siena.
Venue for Il Palio.

The Duomo in Siena has a beautiful soft pink facade.

And then it was time to check out.
The hotel reception...
It had to be pink!

Arrivederci, Italy!
We will be back soon... x

Lots and lots of them in my window box.

Small and pretty. Mainly white with a few blue.

They make me smile and think of summer holidays.

My dream car...

I would drive this lovely dinky little red car with my BF for company in the front seat and as many of my love hearts in the trailer for sale all around Italy.

How sweet a life that would be?

Not Sunday just yet...

There seems to be a foodie theme to my blog posts.

Strawberry ice cream is my all time favourite flavour.

Which is your favourite?

How I love cake...

See the dusting on the giant swirl of meringue.

See the caramel brulee topping on the honey mousse.

I didn't eat them both!

Mouthwatering memories of Menorca.

Eat more fruit...

How I love to eat fruit, especially in the Summer.

Must be fresh, colourful, juicy and sweet.

My signature dish is fresh fruit salad, made of strawberries, pineapple, mango, mandarin and kiwis...

For breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Sweet memories...

... of La Boqueria Food Market in Barcelona.

Not just any pick 'n' mix.

These are giant fried eggs, huge foam strawberries and the longest fizzy pencils ever!
